Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or with related field of study.

Experience: 1-2 years of field sales experience in any of the following industries:

  • Sanitary ware & Bath Fittings

  • Paints & Coatings

  • Modular Furniture / Office Furniture

  • Hardware & Building Materials Retail

  • Tiles, Lighting, or Flooring Sales

Quantity Required: 1

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Pipeline Identification: Proactively identify and qualify active construction projects entering the interior finishing and fit-out phase within the assigned territory.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain professional relationships with key project influencers, including Interior Designers, MEP Contractors, Finishing Foremen, and Procurement Managers, to position the company as a preferred supplier.

  • Specification Development: Collaborate with project decision-makers to ensure the company's product ranges are included within project specifications and approved vendor schedules prior to tender issuance.

  • Product Presentation & Sampling: Coordinate and manage the delivery of product samples, finish swatches, and technical data sheets to project sites. Facilitate showroom visits to support client selection processes.

  • Market & Competitor Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and product usage on major project sites. Provide regular feedback to management regarding market pricing, alternative solutions, and emerging project opportunities.

  • Order & Logistics Coordination: Liaise between the project site and internal supply chain teams to ensure the timely delivery of finishing materials, aligning with site readiness schedules to mitigate risks of damage or storage constraints.

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales cycle from initial lead generation through to negotiation, order confirmation, and post-delivery follow-up, ensuring achievement of assigned revenue targets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Site Savvy: You know how to sign in at a site office, wear a hard hat, and talk to a site supervisor about delivery lead times.

  • Visual Acumen: You can discuss color schemes, finish options (matte vs. gloss), and design trends with an interior designer.

  • Closer Mentality: You are comfortable chasing a purchase order from a busy contractor.
