About The Job
Work Inspector to join our consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. As part of a consulting firm, you will provide independent oversight and professional advice to clients, helping them achieve successful project delivery.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify construction works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify non-conformities, defects, or deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to clients and project managers.
- Support consultants and engineers in resolving technical issues on-site.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and approvals.
- Act as a client representative, safeguarding project interests through impartial oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in site inspection, preferably within consulting/advisory firms.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional impartiality.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
